Nat Kobyak is a Ukrainian-born linguist, writer, and creative who has spent over a decade working in translation and localization. After moving to the United States, she continued exploring her love of languages, storytelling, and the quiet magic hidden in everyday life.
Nat gravitates toward cozy atmospheres, late-night conversations, and slow-burning personal growth — themes that gently wind their way into her fiction. Her writing blends warmth, wit, and emotional honesty, especially when following characters who rebuild themselves after messy chapters of life.
When she’s not writing, Nat enjoys long walks, painting, studying new languages, and drinking unwise amounts of coffee. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and their cat, Panther — the real-life inspiration behind Mr. Socks.
Unaccounted For is her debut novel.
